A year at our school

Public School Interschool Sports Competitions

Our students demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship and dedication as they participate in interschool sports competitions, embracing every opportunity to learn new skills and support their teammates.

Students travel to Canberra for our Stage 3 excursions, creating many lasting memories. They are proud representatives of our school, demonstrating excellent behaviour and making the most of every experience.

Book Week Parade

Book Week is an exciting time where students celebrate the joy of reading through creative costumes and imaginative adventures. It’s a fun-filled event that sparks curiosity and encourages a love for stories and learning.

Wellbeing Day

We celebrated the end of term with Wellbeing Day at the park, students enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. The day is topped off with refreshing ice blocks and chips, celebrating teamwork, laughter, and a healthy dose of fun in the fresh air.

The Silver City Show- School Display

The Silver City Show features a vibrant school art display where each student contributes their unique creativity. This colourful showcase fills us with pride as it celebrates the talent and effort of our entire school community.

Family Events

Our school warmly invites families and the community to participate in special events such as Public Education Week Open Day. These occasions provide wonderful opportunities strengthen connections and be actively involved in our school community.

SRC Fundraising

Our Student Representative Council (SRC) leads exciting fundraising events for the school and charities. Students foster creativity and friendship with SRC lunch time activities.

Pulse Alive Broken Hill

Pulse Alive is a vibrant performing arts event that brings together thousands of students from NSW public schools. Offering performance opportunities for all abilities it features dance, singing, music and drama.

We are so impressed with Railway Town Public School. The staff have created an engaging, safe and welcoming community for students and parents.
