NSW schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics. Approved providers deliver these, where available.
Railway Town Public School's approved Special Religious Education (SRE) providers are:
Anglican Diocese of Riverina;
Saltbush Evangelical Church;
Churches of Christ in NSW (Fresh Hope); and
Salvation Army NSW/ACT Division.
These providers offer a Protestant SRE lesson.
Further information about the curriculum is available at http://cepconnect.com.au/curriculum
Parent/carers must give written permission for students to attend SRE lessons.
Parents/carers may, at any time, notify the school through the our online enrolment page or in writing that they wish to change their decision.
Students will continue the same arrangement as the previous year unless a parent/carer has requested a change in writing.
For more information about Special Religious Education (SRE) and approved SRE providers, please visit: education.nsw.gov.au/teaching-and-learning/curriculum/religion-and-ethics
Students not attending SRE are given suitable alternative meaningful activities.
