As a parent or carer, you are an important part of our school community. We offer a range of services to support you and your family.
Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C)
Our Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents and carers, teachers and community members. The P&C meets regularly to contribute to decision-making, developing policies and management plans as well as fundraising.
Meeting dates
The Railway Town Public School Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) meets regularly on the third Wednesday of every month at 7.00pm in the Staff Room in the office building.
Our aim
Our aim is to give parents, caregivers and interested members of the community, the opportunity to become involved in as many as possible of the school activities for the benefit of all students attending our great little school.
About P&C meetings and activities
Whether you can attend all meetings and activities, or just now and then, you can be assured that whatever the contribution it will be valued and appreciated.
Over the years the P&C has promoted or been involved in many activities for the benefit of all at Railway Town. Fundraising activities help provide the school with equipment and resources in addition to those provided by the Department of Education.
The P&C looks forward to welcoming not just new parents to Railway Town but also those with an interest in the school.
The dates of meetings and activities are published in the School Newsletter.
