On Tuesday 7th December members of the NSW Teachers Federation have called industrial action in the form of a 24 hour statewide strike. The staff of Railway Town Public School will be participating in this industrial action.
Following an assessment regarding the number of teachers who will be participating in the industrial action, it has been determined that the school will be unable to provide adequate supervision on Tuesday 7th December. Therefore, in consideration of the safety of students the school will be non-operational on Tuesday 7th December.
Parents and caregivers are asked to make alternative arrangements for their children.
Normal school will resume on Wednesday 8th December 2021.
